Selection Filter disables when selecting control points

I’m double-clicking to select rows of control points on a surface. Doing this a few times will disable the filter.

Is there any way to disable the disable feature?

if you have a selection filter active, and keep trying to select things without selecting anything, it will disable the filter. This feature was added so that you can start selecting things if you were not aware a filter was active. I don’t see the issue however where continuously selecting rows of control points is disabling the filter. Pls send a sample model that shows this behavior.

Thanks for getting back. Unfortunately it’s a VERY random issue. It either does it or doesn’t. When it occurs again I’ll record my screen.

Random = hardest bugs to solve but also sometimes means there might be an easy work around.
