Selecting Tibleblock from Specific Sheet

Hi Guys,

Good day, is there a way that I can select the titleblock of the specific sheets that I want to modify some parameters?

Thanks

Hi Joel, Please put Rhino.Inside.Revit questions in the proper category. Rhino.Inside is a variety of applications.

Sheets are Views that can be filtered by Name or Number, Titleblocks are an Elements with a Category on those views.

Filter Sheets.gh (13.4 KB)

Thanks Japhy, so I just feed the sheet number, cool, one thing,
shall i going to connect the parameter filter?

Thanks

Yes, i left it optional to how you want to gather your sheets, either by name or by number (maybe both)

Hi Japhy,

It turns to Orange line? thanks

That indicates you aren’t getting any values. Are those values in the project?

Yes it is, but can’t see why it is not getting anything? cheers.

In the built in parameters, there are 3 “Sheet Number” parameters… did you try switching between them, that’s the only thing different I can notice ?!

Nice catch Mohamed.

@Joel_Ocampo if you selected a different parameter the values wouldn’t exist in that set.

Thank you guys for your inputs, cheers.

To simplify this a little bit we have a dedicated ‘Query Sheets’ component.

Here a how to obtain a list of Title blocks as well as Viewports on each Sheet.

Thanks Kike, I am wondering those sheets are all existed inside your revit project? thanks.

Yes the ‘Sheets Numbers’ panel contain the sheet numbers of the sheets you want to access from your project.

If you disconnect this input ‘Query Sheets’ will give you all the Sheets in the project so you can filter after if you like.

Hi Guys,

Good day, I am trying to updates all the stamps from my title blocks but I cannot take this instance parameter for changing the stamp?
I am using the script above but I cannot select the correct parameter.

Any help?
Thanks

Hi Joel, Can you breakout an example? Thanks

Related to this topic, we have added ‘Query Title Blocks’ and ‘Query Viewports’ components.
Both perform better than using the generic ‘Query Visible Elements’ component.

Both are in v1.17 and will be on v1.16 as well.

Hi Kike,

Everything works well to access the parameter except for the stamp nested family inside the titleblock, cheers.

Joel, Can you post an example? Thanks
