Select group sub objects with Lasso

Hi,

Do someone know a way to selectively select sub objects of a group with the ‘Lasso’ command?

By standard selection (i.e. simple object clicking), holding the keys <Ctrl> + <Shift> allows the user to pick sub-objects from a group.

However, the <Ctrl> + <Shift> combo doesn’t seem to work with ‘Lasso’ selection, neither with ‘SelBrush’ for instance. When using SelectionMode=Crossing and contouring only a few objects, the whole group gets selected.

Yeah, this looks like a limitation with Lasso or SelBrush which don’t seem to support within-group selection right now… SelBoundary doesn’t either.
