Hi, I don’t know if anyone noticed, in rhino 7 you could use the lasso tool make a boundary and hold ctrl + shift and press enter so it does sub-object selection,
In rhino 8 holding ctrl + shift doesn’t do any, you can only select whole objects, it would be great to get that feature back

can you do a quick screen recording to show what you are seeing? The lasso behavior matches here v7 to v8…
systeminfo would be helpful too.
the first one is rhino 7, when you use the lasso tool and make the boundary then hold down ctrl + shift and press enter it does sub object selection
in the second case, in rhino 8, when you make the boundary with lasso; if you hold down ctrl + shift and press enter it does nothing, you have to release ctrl+shift
