Upon creating section view from my model, there are 3 main issues:
Section doesn’t show projection lines allthough the ‘show projection’ checkbox is checked, and looks like below:
Section is unusually tall (section that I care about is circled yellow, while the whole red rectangle is the section that visual arq created)
The only place where section looks like how I’d expect is in the layout view
How to make my section in model view look like the one in layout view?
Why doesn’t it show projection lines?
Why is it so tall?
Thanks for your help
PS I’ve noticed this only occurs when I move the section AFTER it was created. If I don’t move the section, it looks like expected - why is it so and can you fix it?
Hi @Sven_Duplić could you share that file so we can take a closer look and figure out what’s going wrong?
- Check the depth of the section line by activating the control points. I suspect there is no much depth in your section line and that’s why it looks like as if the “Show Projection only” was activated.
- I guess there is some block or bad geometry that has some part far away from the rest of the object. I may require the file to figure it out.
Here’s the file at the link WeTransfer - Send Large Files & Share Photos Online - Up to 2GB Free
The section is deep enough so that’s not the issue…
Thanks for sharing the file. I’m testing it with the internal version of VisualARQ 2.13 and I can’t reproduce any of the two errors you mention. Perhaps they are fixed in VisualARQ 2.13. We are going to release it in a few weeks, but I’m sending you by PM the internal version if you want to test it out.
