Searching for textures

When opening a file, I have some times the following message:

Cancel or Esc has no effect.
I have to close the Progress window via the Windows TaskManager.
BETA (6.0.17325.8311, 2017-11-21)

I have closed Rhino and installed rhino_en-us_6.0.17332.10241
I open a copy of the same file, all seems in order, the Progress windows does not appear.

This happens more a less once a week, working 1/3 with Serengeti.

Are you opening the file from different locations?

No, the file is on a local drive, still in the same folder. I just modify the file name (by ‘incrementing’ the filename).
