or, the rhino is very bad for the architectural rendering, and the reasons are:
About exporting (obj) from the max to the furniture, for example, the furniture will be very large, and the reason is not the max scale, but the problem in scale of rhino !
As if the real problem is the scale useing in rhino. If you used the scale of the imported furniture from the max to rhino and do everything big to match with the scale of the furniture, the results will be amazing and vice versa.

And when rescale, the results will be miserable
