Save slow due to compression - large meshes

I have a several very large meshs, some with textures. When I Save with compression off the file size is 1.8 GB and saving takes several seconds (destination is a high speed M.2 SSD). If compression is on the file size is reduced about 10% to around 90% of its uncompressed size but saving takes over a minute.

Compression while saving is controlled by Options > Rhino Options > Advanced > Options>Advanced>UseCompressionWhenSaving
Uncheck / Set to False to turn off compression.

Hi David - I think that is the expected trade off. Are you reporting a bug, or is this a heads-up for users who experience long save times, or?
