RiR license acquired on Revit startup?

Hi McNeel,

I’ve been using Rhino Inside Revit for a fair amount and recently I started using Check Out License on my Rhino as I’m also doing some development/testing while commuting in train.

So now I found out that when opening my Revit (NOT opening RiR), then I get the popup of checking out a Rhino License.

My questions are then:

  • Am I using a Rhino License when opening plain Revit with no RiR?
  • Is this intended?

Hi @sonderskovmathias,

If you have this unchecked no license should be required unless some other AddIn calls RhinoCommon.

This was fixed on v1.17.
