Right-click on display tab bug

If I right-click on the display tab, a giant grey bar pops up that covers most of both of my monitors.

Happens with any of the side bar tabs, I think.

Also happens if I left-click or right-click on the options gear to the right of that tab.

Yikes - can you please run SystemInfo and paste the results here?

thanks,

-Pascal

Hi Peter - this is what I’d fix first - let’s see what happens with newer drivers - I’m not sure that’s the cause but we should eliminate that first…

-Pascal

Oh, that’s really old. And windows says it’s up to date. I’ll download the update manually & see what happens.

That did not fix the problem. I also tried it using just one screen and the result was the same.

Durn… I don’t know, I guess we can ask the Panel master @andy if he has seen this or has an idea. Andy- can you look at the clip on the original posting above…? weird, huh?

Are you running the classic window theme? If so, could you try switching to an aero based theme to see if it persists?

I switched to an aero theme from classic, and the problem goes away.
