RhinoScriptSyntax list in the Python editor

I don’t find this to be an improvement. In V5 the methods were listed alphabetically. That was easy. Now I need to search. It would be great if there was a way to still list them alphabetically for those that want that option.

I seem to remember a request to have them displayed by category way back when… In V5, I always have (had) the .chm help file open which has a good search/index, but it is no more for V6, and the online guide (F1) is waaaaay worse…

Yes, the on-line guide is painful to use.

So, there are two issues here. I want to make sure on the second issue, you are talking about the F1 key going to this site: http://developer.rhino3d.com/api/RhinoScriptSyntax/

The online version of the CHM looks like this: http://developer.rhino3d.com/api/rhinoscript/

You are feeling the Rhino Script Syntax one is harder to use?

Does the Online CHM make it better?

The first is for Python rhinoscriptsyntax, the second for vb Rhinoscript…

The second would actually be better if:

  1. It pertained to Python
  2. The Index tab had a search box
  3. The search tab worked - it doesn’t here.

Actually those do work on a web browser here, but not on a mobile device which I was originally checking on. However, it is still the Help for VB Rhinoscript.
