i just downloaded Rhino 8 for testing. i get the same error.
otherwise i guess thatās it for me already with Rhino.

How do you get the cert? It said This certificate cannot be verified to a trusted certificate authority.
Sorry for late reply for all of you. After this issue, I installed the window again and change my user name in to english. I think this problem occured because of cjk languages in the directory of rhino files. If you are having a trouble similar to me, I highly recommend you to change your user name in english.

I have the same problem with the latest Rhino 8.8 update / Win 11Pro 23H2 latest update
After updating the system, either v.7 or v.8 will not startā¦

**" pop-up appears while I try to start v.8, but nothing happens.
I have tried starting Rhino in safe mode, tried the Windows āapp repairā option for Rhino, reinstalled both versionsā¦ unfortunately all to no success.
Does anyone know the solution to the problem?
