Rhino6 crashes all the time when I use reduce meshes

hi my Mac crashes all the time when I use reduce meshes. I’ve updated macOS and reinstalled rhino 6, but still crashes.

Hi Sewon Kim,

Can you provide your SystemInfo? (type in Rhino command line)

Thanks

thanks for fast feedback!

Thanks. Does this happen only a on a particular model or even on a simple mesh? Can you give step by step instructions to reproduce as well as a file if need be?

Note that Rhino 6 is only supported up to macOS 11.7.6 (Big Sur)

yep it also crashes with simple mesh. my fellows rhino works totally fine with same mesh file but only mine crashes.

Do you and the other user have similar SystemInfo?

one thing you can try is resetting your Plist.

https://wiki.mcneel.com/rhino/mac/resetprefs

I tried both way using command, using Terminal, but still crashing…

is there any other option?

I’m not running an old mac with Rhino 6 to test. You can download a trial of Rhino 7 or post the file for testing there (new macOS with Rhino 7). I can test on Windows Rhino 6.
