Rhino WIP out of memory after deleting objects in imported DWG

Reproduces about half the time.

  • Open DWG file from our surveyor
  • Switch to Top view
  • Zoom extents
  • Select content unrelated to our survey (there are three different surveys in one DWG file)
  • Delete selected content
  • WIP locks up then OSX reports error “out of application memory”

This did not happen on earlier versions of Rhino or with earlier versions of this DWG file. I can email this file to someone at Rhino but I can’t post it in a public forum.

I’m having similar problems with files that contain Bitman. I also use a mouse 3d connexion and monitoring activity signals a massive use of ram.

Still having this problem in 5C228w.

jet, can you send us a file? ( rhino3d.com/upload )

Got it, thanks, I see the problem as well, a bug report has been logged.

thanks,
