Rhino V8 Layout Technical details are allowing objects behind other surfaces to show through. I saw this in an earlier version years ago, and it was corrected at the time.

I found the earlier report, which related to V7. V7 Layout Technical does not hide objects behind other surfaces - #5 by wim
I deleted the Technical display mode, then restarted Rhino. The problem remains.

I take it that you are talking about how this looks in a detail on a layout (as opposed to an export to PDF)? If so, there is a setting in the technical display modes that allows turning on or off the drawing of hidden lines. It looks like you have modified the default display mode in Rhino 6, but not yet done that in Rhino 8.
