I just recently updated Rhino as it prompted me to, and now it doesn’t work properly anymore. I am running a trial windows version. in the command it says loading Rhino Render version 1.50, June 24, 2020. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the trial, but it is going back to this updated version that no longer works. Any advice?
Sorry, that isn’t enough detail to understand what might have gone wrong.
Let’s start with a screenshot showing the error.
Does Rhino eventually start?
If yes, run the Rhino “SystemInfo” command and post the screenshot and results.
Those answers should suggest next steps.

Hello - I’m afraid Parallels is not supported - it may or may not work… 6.27 does seem to be unhappy about Parallels.
Hi Pascal - Yeah I figured it was something in the update, but I was wondering if there was a way to go back because it was working just fine before updating
