Rhino Textures Issue

I am having an issue with a downloaded fbx texture file. I need to make 4 copies of the objects with differentiations in the color of the texture file to demonstrate diversity. For example, there are 4 hands, but When I duplicate the texture file and try and modify the color for one texture it changes all of the hands colors in my render view. How would I go about separating out the textures to rely on each individual instance?

I suppose so your problem is that all copied objects are using the same material. You need to create a duplicated material for each object and adjust them.

a different maybe faster way, when you click on one hand, in your properties material it should show like here a purple line create a unique…

that will create a duplicate material automatically. i am using a mac, yours might looks slightly different.
