Rhino sends empty file to Vinyl cutter

Hi,
I have an Allen vinyl cutter hooked up. Unfortunately Rhino V7 doesn’t send any information to the cutter. It sends an empty file. Rhino shows the cutter and I can position the cutters print box and choose paper sizes etc. but Rhino sends zero information to the cutter when I hit print.
I need to get this working, I have a ton of stencils to cut for a restoration job.
Thanks for any help or suggestions to get this working.

Hello - has this ever worked in V7? Does it work if you start Rhino in Safe Mode?

-Pascal

Hi Pascal,

This is the first time I’ve tried to print out of Rhino V7 and hit this error right from the get go. I’ve rebooted a few times, reinstalled the printer driver and still this error. Up to now I’ve been printing out of Rhino V5 in Vista or Win 95 and both work fine.

I have to try safe mode and I’ll try out of V6 which I have installed on win10 and get back to to you. Let me know if you can think of anything else I should try.
Thanks for your quick reply and help,
RM
