I am wondering what are the main areas one can tweak to get faster results out of cycles - render in Rhino 7? We work on macs, so I guess it uses the CPU mainly. But would be nice to hear what settings can be tweaked to get some faster results in case the quality is not the most important criteria
In Preferences > Cycles play with the responsiveness and sharpness sliders. Sharpness: each notch to the left means more grainy results, but faster. Responsiveness each notch to the left means faster response when changing viewport or model.
In Advanced Render Settings (Rendering panel) set bounces lower for less work.
