Rhino not responding upon opening blank file

Hello all,

I have Rhino 6 installed on my computer. It was working fine up until I did the ‘Make2D’ command and my computer crashed (my operating system is not great).
Since then I cannot open a blank rhino file at all, the window displays black or frozen windows and any movement causes it to not respond. I can’t open any of my files as they freeze. I have to close the program through ‘task manager’ even though the file it blank.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program and it is the same.

I can open safe mode but don’t know how to get normal rhino working again.

I would be very grateful for any ideas

Hello - please run SystemInfo in Rhino and post the results here.

Hello - the first thing to try, I would say, is to locate a newer driver for the video card - 2015 is ancient, as these things go. Get that from the Intel website, do not believe Windows if it tells you the driver is up to date.

Great - will do this now - thank you
