Rhino Mac layout dimension offset bug

[Zen]

Hi Today I have encountered a bug when I dimension in layout the leaders don’t snap to the object there slightly offset to the right works fine in the model space but not in layout please could some one help ?
Hopefully I have a weird setting or something

had read the other similar topic about offset dimensions but resetting model base point to 0 didn’t help

here is the system info
I have a Video of the actions taken but I couldn’t up load it and a model from the video
Also effects all my files and new ones I create exactly the same.

Is the expected result?

Here i placed a dimension in the Layout.

It dimensions correctly but the positioning and snapping of the leader of offset when you zoom in ? seems a bit weird. is there some way I can upload the video to show that I’m experiencing ?

The only difference i’m seeing is the Font, can you try changing the Annotation Styles font to Arial?

If you haven’t done much customization please try running the Reset command and go back to Factory settings.

Rhino 8 dimension layout snap misalignes with detail curves/objects

Hi there, I have trouble snapping dimensions inside the detail. It seems that the displayed curve in the detail misaligns with the curve for the snap point. This makes it difficult to snap to proper points, confusing and sometimes wrong dimension annotation. So today I don’t have the problem ! I have no idea what I have done differently the dimensioning is working as expected ! which is great , maybe it was something to do the the model base point not being zero. I like to use the move as a command line prompt a lot, but model base point comes up first when you type mo… and I often enter with out looking and then realise I’ve reset the model base point so I reset to zero and carry on perhaps this was the issue?
