Rhino 7 no longer lets me dimension in the layout view. I cannot select any geometry unless I go into the modeling view. I had been dimensioning extensively in layout view. What am I missing?
Reboot and see if that sorts it.
If not, please post a simple file (maybe a box and a layout) together with the steps to follow to repeat the problem.

No luck after the reboot (done twice). I am on a MacBook Pro with AMD Radeon Pro 5500M (8GB). 3DM File is 117 MB.
In layout view, I can select and dimension end points (and mid-points, apparent intersections, etc.) for a linear dimension. But I cannot select an arc to dimension the arc’s radius, nor can I select 2 edges of a polysurface to dimension the angle between the edges.
Even if I turn off/hide all the unimportant layers and/or objects in model view, I still cannot select any of the visible objects (except to endpoints, midpoints, etc.) from layout view.
I cut and pasted a couple of the key objects (an arc and a polysurface) into a new 3DM file, and was able to dimension those items from the layout view. So, something fresh (and small?) works as expected. Test file attached, but since it works, I am not sure if it helps.
