I’m wondering if there’s a Rhino.Inside workflow to create walls and curtain walls that follow complex geometry. In the snips below, I need to create curtain walls that curved in plan and profiled in elevation. I know this can be done via masses/voids in Revit. The problem is that I can’t reference the geometry via Pick Line in Revit.
All the geometry is coming from Rhino so I was wondering if I could solve this issue in Rhino but also create Revit native elements.
Thanks for the responses as always. I guess the issue I’m having with the swept void condition is I can’t “pick line” my geometry from Rhino.
As far as I can tell, in Rhino and even in Revit, the geometry is a simple curve in plan. However, I can’t reference the verticles on the edges or the edges themselves.
Any idea why this would be? These were built using very basic geometry in Rhino.
I apologize for the slow response. I spent some time troubleshooting the geometry further.
When creating walls or curtain walls, the workflow was to go Architecture > Wall > Pick Line and reference the RiR geometry. However, if the edges were doubly curved, it’s impossible to reference. At least I can’t figure out a way to do so. So, instead, a WIP floor has to be modelled that follows the geometry, and then that can be referenced.
The geometry below can’t be referenced since it’s curved in elevation and in plan.
