Recently I have found when I am working on a file with a large number of objects, certain commands like mirror and align, will cause Rhino to hang for very long times or crash completely.
I am running the Vray plugin and I have noticed the problem doesn’t seem to occur when using wireframe viewports or if Vray is turned off.
I’m not sure if it is a problem with the number of objects in the model as the problem also doesn’t occur when isolating objects into a blank file.
My system specs are:
Intel® Core™ i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz, 3696 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)
16GB Ram
NVIDEA GeForce GTX 1660, 6GB Video Memory.
So I have actually tried running rhino with the Vray plugin turned off and have noticed that it doesnt make any difference. Rhino still hangs and crashes when trying to do simple commands like mirror a line or move an object.
It feels like a display problem as it seems slightly better in wireframe, however when using task manager during a hang I cant see any rhino using much of anything.
Windows 10.0 SR0.0 or greater (Physical RAM: 16Gb)
Hi - can you reproduce the issue with a new file from a factory-default template and just a simple box? If not, can you reproduce this with your specific file when you launch Rhino in safe mode?

Hello - your sysyem info shows VRay is loaded. Just to make sure: When you test, disable Vray plugin(s) in Options> Plug-ins page and then restart Rhino.
