Rhino 8 - UI - SubD tools

Hi McNeel team

The SubD tools are a major evolution of Rhino since V7 and I wonder why these tools are not directly accessible from the main toolbar ?
Why not add these toolbars by following the logic used until now in Rhino’s interface, i.e. creation tools and modification tools, as in the example below?

The order of icons should follow the same logic as in the Solid and Surface toolbars : Box, Cylinder, Sphere, …

(This has already been discussed for V7 : UI inconsistency on SubD toolbar (V7))

Btw, the Gumball, a revolutionary tool that changed the modelling workflow, is still not active by default on new installations.

Hi

RH8 installed.
I added a SubD icon in the main left toolbar and I’m trying to link the SubD toolbar to the icon. unfortunately, the SubD toolbar do not contains all the SubD icons. No creation tools

Could you fix this for the final version ?

(I know there is the SubD tab at the top but don’t like to use the tab system)
