I’m struggling to open the subd toolbar cannot see how to.
Any ideas how I can access it?

Run ToolbarReset if you don’t see a “SubD Tools” tab between Solid tools and Mesh tools. If you still don’t see it after a restart of the Rhino 7 WIP, please run the SystemInfo command in Rhino and reply with the results.
