Rhino 8 UI panel drag jumps off Rhino window

Hi, got another UI mystery. Undock a panel I want to move, LMB click, hold, drag, and while still holding the LMB it flash-jumps out of Rhino world and to the upper left corner of my screen. No good. Not even a chance to resize it.

It should stay in my cursor’s grasp until I find another home for it or leave it floating so I can click it closed - I think.

Thanks

I tried hard but failed to reproduce the issue you are showing. Does this happen with any panel you are dragging out?

A few weeks ago in the 8.3 days, yes, it happened regularly with the Osnaps panel. But here I am trying with the Linetypes panel, can’t replicate it.

Just happened with Selection Filters. This gif actually shows several fudged up UI behaviors, one of which is specific to this thread: dragging Selection Filters dragging out of a container and “it” jumps off the R8 window to the top left of the screen.
