@Giada1 that’s weird, I cannot reproduce it here, nor by using your settings.
I guess I need more info. Once you start Rhino, can you run _SystemInfo and post back the results here?
If you cannot type commands, go to Help > SystemInformation
Really weird, unfortunately. I am now learning how to use Rhino and in first time I was really convinced it was my fault, but I have followed all your instruction step by step.
This is what I found out in _SystemInfo

Hi Giada, Can you use Shift+Command+5 and get a shot of your entire screen? Thanks
@Giada1 your command line is in there, are you missing something else?
Hello,
I only have the command typing section on the left side in the menu, as shown in Hans Henrick’s screenshot. I am missing the command bar where I can continue typing and set the parameters, as shown in the screenshot below.
(this is a screenshot taken from another device)
Since I can’t type like when the command bar is “extended,” I’m unable to set certain parameters as needed.
Sorry for any trouble this might cause. I hope I’m not making you lose time with my newbie ignorance.
Thanks!
@Giada1 There is only one way to get that: getting a Windows machine. Rhino for Mac doesn’t have the options as text, most of the clickable options are buttons, and they appear in the command sidebar once your start the command (e.g polyline shown here after picking the first point):
I really didn’t know that, thanks a lot for the clarification and sorry for the waste of time!
