I’ve noticed with RH8-SR15 that the layer panel behaves in a new way:
- Create around 30 new layers.
- Click on a layer so that it’s highlighted blue.
- Scroll the layers panel so that highlighted layer moves out of view.
- Now when you mouse over into the Rhino viewport and then back into the layer panel, it will instantly scroll to show the highlighted layer instead of just staying where you scrolled to.
Needless to say this new behavior is pretty annoying on large sessions with many layers/sub-layers. Especially because for some reason in Rhino 8 when you delete any layer it now highlights the bottom-most layer (which is a separate issue) instead of the layer right below the deleted one like in RH7. So when you mouse back over it instantly scrolls to the very bottom.
