Has anyone managed to get the section style boundary lineweight to print in any scale other than default?
I’ve attempted to change the linetype to be a thicker line. I’ve changed the scale. Nothing seems to change the print result. It will change the on-screen lineweight, but not the printed lineweight.

Hello There Im experiencing a similar issue where the clipping plane section line weight is either not changing at all on Rhino 8 Mac and is inconsistent in rhino 9 some line weight change & some don’t. is this the expected behaviour or should this be fixed now ? I don’t use VisualArq

Looking into this, specifically for Rhino 8, but will address Rhino 9 as we make progress.
Initially i want to say use linetypes (not set to pixel width!) for ultimate control of the section boundary (vs Layer Print Width) , but need to dig into a bit more before giving advice.
I think part of the issue is the other sections are still visible in the details views..
In this simple example below all the controls are working as expected. The section border thickness isn’t shown until you actually print (a known issue with Print Width modifications).
Changing the Custom Section Style Width Scale is effective, as does modifying the Print Width.
Note that this is with the default Continuous linetype (1 width, pixel units), changing to a different Linetype and Width Unit will override the Print Width (which complicates troubleshooting)
