Rhino 8’s desk top post update to 8.35.26251.13001, 2026-09-08 is acting VERY strangely.

object roll rate about all three axis is approaching zero

object scroll is no longer smooth; more like rolling off the top of a concrete stairs

Try running ZEA (Zoom All Extents) or ZT (Zoom Target) on the part. If it keeps drifting off, check that Options > View > “Auto adjust camera target after Pan and Zoom” is still checked.

uninstalled latest version of Rhino 8 and installed a version from June 2026 and the desktop problem is still there! appears the problem is in file…
