Hello, I have the GTX 4060Ti on my computer but in Rhino 8 it doesnt recognize it and the anti-aliasing seems not working. Any suggestion ? Thanks !
Hi Vu, please run SystemInfo in your Rhino command line and post the results.
If you go to Device Manager in windows are there any warnings on the graphics devices?
A clean install of the video driver is the next step.

Thanks. maybe this is the problem:
I am using a monitor has only Display Port, no HDMI.
Secondary graphics devices.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti (NVidia) Memory: 8GB, Driver date: 8-14-2024 (M-D-Y).
> Accelerated graphics device with 4 adapter port(s)
- There are no monitors attached to this device!
ATTENTION:
Desktop is using the slower, less reliable integrated graphics device and probably needs a configuration change. There is only one monitor detected, but it’s connected to the slower, integrated graphics video port.
- Recommended: Unplug the monitor and plug it into one of the video ports on this device:
[NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti]
- Any hardware configuration or cabling changes you make will require that you restart Rhino.

If you have your DisplayPort cable connected to your motherboard, can you move that cable out of the motherboard and into the 4060 Ti?
Normally there is a mixed config on the back of modern GPUs of DisplayPort and normally at least a single HDMI.
Most video cards have a displayport? There are also surely HDMI to DP “adapters”
there are 2 displayport slots and 1 HDMI slots. I tried connect to HDMI and Displayport (with the good cable from UGreen). Nothing happens. May I try to reinstall the driver.
That’s probably a good start. I cannot see what driver you have.
But afterwards, you should do a shutdown, and then restart with the cable attached to the graphics card.
It may take a few moments for the motherboard to catch up on restart, so leave it a minute to make sure that it recognises the GPU is now the throughput.
Thanks. After doing “cleaning install”, it works.
Hello, sorry for one more question:
Hello all, my current setup is
12th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i5-12400
Gigabyte b760m ds3h ax ddr4
Adata 32 Gb RAM (16 x 2)
Gigabyte RTX 4060 Ti
I am thinking about buy more 2 16Gb RAM, to make my PC has 64Gb. Is that ok or not necessary? My current setup is enough for Rhino & Grasshopper?
32 GB is normally fine.
I think you could upgrade to have 4 RAM sticks. However for the purposes of best performance it is usually better to maintain a 2-channel setup with 2Ă—32 GB than 4Ă—16 GB.
In addition, I think RAM sticks of good quality are normally paired.
