Rhino 8 Freezing on new PC build

Just build a new pc and am running Rhino 8 on it. My problem is that rhino freezes when I click on the menu bar. I have no issues with modeling but when I click on “file” or anything on the menu bar it says (not responding) for up to a minute and then nothing. If I spam the drop down it will eventually open up and act normal. After about 10 seconds it resets the problem. Rhino 7 works fine. So far all my other software is work as it should. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Rhino 8 and the problem persists. I also, have reinstalled the gpu drivers. Here is the system info:

Hi Allan -

Do you have Rhino on the primary monitor or the secondary one? Does the behavior change when you disconnect one of them?

Could you provide a manual dump file from when Rhino is in the “Not responding” stage? Instructions for creating and sending those can be found here: Manually Creating a Memory Dump (DMP File) from an Unresponsive Rhino for Windows [McNeel Wiki]

Disconnecting the monitors or changing the monitors does not resolve the problem. I uploaded the DMP file.

Hi @Allan3 ,

Thanks for sending that in, I’ve replied via email where we can continue. At this time, it looks to be related to network drive access.
