Hello, about two weeks ago my Rhino started freezing while working. When I shut it down and restart it, the file I was working on can only be opened for reading and I have to restart the whole computer. If I have multiple Rhino windows open, they all freeze. Does anyone have a similar problem and, most importantly, a solution? Thanks a lot.

Quick update, rhino can only run for 30 minutes without crashing, after freezing and restarting it doesn’t communicate with the nvidia graphics card and only offers the built-in intel. So I have to restart the whole system. Then I have about 30 minutes again. I’m absolutely desperate!

Just to make sure, Rhino never actually crashes but becomes completely unresponsive, right? When Rhino is in that state, please create a manual dump file and send that to us following the instructions from Manually Creating a Memory Dump (DMP File) from an Unresponsive Rhino for Windows [McNeel Wiki]

Hi Wim, thanks for the reply. Yes, that’s right, unresponsive. I found a similar thread with instructions on how to send a dump file, so I sent it on Friday.
