This is a great functionality, really handy.
But sometimes when I want to change the layers being excluded, Rhino does not remember the current excluded layers and I need to select them all over again.

Hello- it looks lke this can happen if a layer is added or removed since being set, is that what you see?

Hi Pascal.
I am talking about having 11 layers selected as excluded, trying to add one more and having to select all 11 layers again.
Look here, properties menu says 11, yet there is not a single one selected. And it is not because of sublayers.
Also, I think this menu would be a lot more intuitive if it had a checkbox on the left to select layers. Instead of having to Ctrl + Click to add more layers.
Hi -
Here, layers are selected in that dialog:
Please run the Rhino SystemInfo
command and copy-paste the result here.

Yeah , it happens sometimes that it does not select already excluded layers. Most of the time it works ok. Not sure how to replicate it.

Any solution here? I agree with Shynn, having checkboxes would be much better. I can only choose them by selecting an object (apparently on that specific layer), which is not useful as I would have to find that layer and manually unlock it first.
Working with imported geometry from a customer, I have hundreds of layers and no idea where to find all the objects. Selecting objects on layer and/or sublayer didn’t work.
Rhino 8 Mac version here.
