Rhino 8 drawing exporting to Vectric Aspire work flow

I used to use Sketchup for my woodworking/furniture designs but have turned to Rhino. I’m finding it a lot harder to learn but that is probably because it is so feature rich. In the last few months I have acquired a CNC machine which I like to use for anything curved.

My question is for my designs in Rhino 8 what is a likely flow process for exporting the parts of the drawing so that I can import them into Aspire 12 (my current version). I use Aspire to create cnc files for my CNC machine. Additionally, what is the export file type to use.

I am not an expert for Vectric VCarve / Aspire - and I am not a big fan of it. I have one customer using it.
2d curves → dwg / dxf
3d objects → stl / obj / dxf with meshes

check youtube / google

Vectric CNC software will read .3dm files directly for 3D models.
