I’ve just moved to Rhino 8 and in the previous version the command line was at the top of the left side panel. Now it’s not there, but when I start typing a command it pops up in a separate window. How do I dock the command function back at the top of the main menu panel?
Also, as a follow on - whenever I am in the main menu on the left panel side and select an icon to start a command (Such as ‘Rectangle’ a separate window pops up with all of the commands (First corner of rectangle, other corner or length) and then when I complete it the pop up window still remains. I want the commands to pop up like they used to in the left side panel and not in a separate command window. How do I disable this pop up?
I encountered this yesterday after taking the time to create a new “main” toolbar and was very confused / annoyed.
My solution was to take the new toolbar that popped up with the command line, dock it and populate it as my new “main” toolbar. Maybe not ideal to have to do, but now it works like before.
