I just updated rhino to 8.8, and it keeps crashing when I open heaviver model which did not happen the day before… same model. did not change a thing…

Are you submitting crash dumps? I haven’t see any with your email address come through.

it wont even let me open the file. basically it opens, for a split second it’ll crash and close… it does not generate any crash data

Launch Rhino 8 and click Tools > Options > Plug-ins. Sort the list by Plug-ins that do not ship with Rhino. Disable all plug-ins that you see. Close Rhino, restart, and open your file. Does the crash go away?

no… it just won’t open a large file…but was able to send in a crash report
unfortunately I cannot include the file as we have a very strict NDA policy

Please install the latest Rhino 8 SR9 Release Candidate and let me know if this helps.
