Rhino 7 mac WIP bugs

Hi there,

I wanted just quickly tell you guys two bugs I found in Rhino 7 mac wip:

a) When I export a layout as pdf I can change the line and hatch pattern to “match viewport display”. But it does not have an effect, linetypes and hatches remain in pattern definition
b) When I open an AutoCAD drawing it opens model space and layouts but not the correct paper size. Paper size remains A4

To a)
Is it possible, that I preset “match vieport display” already in the detail view? So I can see it already correctly in the layout like I want the drawing to be exported.

Hello - thanks, I see this (a). You should be able to see the print view in the details by enabling PrintDisplay Actually, testing a bit more, in a layout detail, the Print dialog’s setting for linetype display seems to work, in a modeling viewport it does not, in the latest here.

If you have a simple Autocad drawing that shows the problem in (b), please post that.

Print Display changes the line width but not the pattern scale. When I set on Print Display in Layouts it shows me different line widths (correct), but the hatch and line pattern remains in pattern definition scale.

When I export it as a pdf (Layout) it does it always in pattern definition scale, not in Viewport Display Scale, even if I switch the setting.

Hello - I see…- can you run SystemInfo in Rhino and post the results? - as far as I can see, here, from layouts this all works correctly both in PrintDisplay and pdf output.

Also on this machine when opening a dwg it is much slower in 7 wip then in 5.

Sorry guys for my stupid question, but where is actually the right place for posting Rhino mac 7 wip bug reports?

I noticed in Rhino 7 wip, that when I rotate or mirror a text it does not stick. This means that I want to mirror the text, but the orientation stays the same (mirror command or simply by Gumball). Is this supposed to be like that?

you are in the right place, but its helpful for tracking purposes that you start a new topic for each bug you find,

Do you have Horizontal to view checked for your text? Uncheck that.

No, horizontal to view is off. When I rotate the text with the gumball or mirror it, it remains still in the same orientation. Very strange
