Rhino 7 Mac - .DocumentRevisions-V100 ChunkStorage reached 560 GB

Hi,

I have a serious storage issue that seems related to Rhino 7 on macOS Tahoe 26.5.1

My startup disk became almost full (1TO). After investigating with DaisyDisk, I found that : DocumentRevisions-V100/.cs/ChunkStorage = 560 GB

I already checked:

  • No Time Machine snapshots
  • No APFS snapshots
  • No large .3dmbak files
  • Files are stored locally (not in iCloud Drive)

I also tried on Rhino File > Revert To > Delete All Previous Versions, but it had no effect.

Questions:

  1. Is this a known Rhino issue?
  2. What is the safest way to clean ChunkStorage?
  3. Most importantly, how can I prevent this from happening again?

This is not a Rhino issue but part of how Mac OS works.
