Hi all,
I have a problem with the hatch panel in Rhino 7.
When I select curves and run the hatch command the hatch panel opens and then Rhino freezes instantly. I just switched from Rhino 6 where I worked in the same model and had no problems at al.
Are more people dealing with this same issue?
Best regards,
Ties

Update: I tested around using the hatch command on different scales. Rhino crashes when using a small hatch scale on a large surface. In rhino 6 I had no problem doing this.
Can you run SystemInfo in Rhino and copy/Paste the results here?
Large surface + small scale = lots of lines to display
It may be your graphics card isn’t up to the task. Display stuff on Mac V7 is more demanding/difficult than on V6…

I thought about that too and I think you are right.
But why is that? And isn’t that a bad thing?

We removed a cap on the display lines generated for hatch patterns which used to be 130,000 lines in V7 due to bug reports. The current cap is way too large and we are investigating what can be done to fix this.
