Rhino 7 for Mac not opening some files

Some files that I try and open on Rhino 7 having worked on them fine previously will not open. I have sent the files to another Rhino user and they are opening on their system.

Stays at loading screen and says Application not responding until I have to force quit.

Please help!

try opening a blank file and then file>import your problematic file.
