Hello everyone. I have updated my Rhino 7 three days ago and since then I cannot open any of the files I have worked on before. I will be really happy if anyone can help me somehow.( I have Mac)
Hello- is there an error message? Are the files saved to the local hard drive or on a network?
-Pascal
Hello. Yes the files are all saved on my hard drive. Wenn I try to open them, the window become white and I can see only the Rhino Logo above in the line and nothing comes. When I close the window, then comes a message, which says that there was an error and I can explain what happen and send it to McNeel. I have done that several times but nothing has happened. And the thing that really surprised me was that when I make a new file and save it then I cannot open that too. I thought that the reason can be the update that I have done but now I`m not sure. I have three times completely uninstalled the program and again downloaded and installed, but that hasn’t helped at all.
Have you tried restarting your Mac? If that doesn’t help, can you tell me if you had a previous Rhino 7 version that opened your files on this Mac before? This is what it sounds like but I want to make sure. Also check if the file location is a factor by saving to your desktop for instance and then testing if it opens.
Please also type the command SystemInfo in Rhino 7 and save that text file to post here please if none of this helps.
Hello again,
yes I have restarted my Mac a couple of times, but it didn’t helped. As I downloaded Rhino for the first time the Version was Rhino7 and the file was worked on Rhino7. Now I have updated Rhino and it is still Rhino7 but 7.2 I think and now I have the problem not opening my files. And here is the information from the command:

Can you Import your 3dm files into a new blank Rhino document? If that works, please go into Preferences (Cmd+,) > General and set your update frequency to service release candidates and then click check now. If Import works for you versus Open, I’d be interested to know if 7.3 works better for you.
