Revit to rhino missing script

Does anyone have the python script shown in this guide?

In the video it says there’s a link to download it but I couldn’t find it.

The python script is is just baking out the geometry out to layers. You can substitute for components from Human or Elefront if you have them available (I’ve attached a screenshot showing how it would work). Otherwise someone here might be able to recreate the python script if they’re feeling nice.

Sorry for reviving an year old topic.
I have the same problem with the OP and trying to follow your comments but I’m not able to find the “Define Object Attributes” node from Elefront (I’m a noob):

This is what I’m trying to do:

Thanks for your time!

Hey Nomuza,

So I believe you have the newer version of Elefront which doesn’t have the same exact component but an equivalent one as shown in the GIF below and GH attached.

You might also be interested in directly baking using the RiR “Graphical Element” component as shown below as well depending on your needs.

RIR_BakeGeometry
RIR_BakeGeometry.gh (12.2 KB)

Thanks Mohamed
When I’m uploading your .gh file I got a warning message saying some R6 Elefront objects are missing

That’s strange since my elefront version is 5.1.5 which is the latest I believe:

However, I ran your .gh file with that error nonetheless, it worked!

One thing I noticed is the imported model is baked as “Floors” layer in Rhino automatically (magically  )

Since I’m working for a building company and as an estimator/QS, taking off quantities separately per floor is very important. Is there a way to create separate layers per floor and save each object separately?
Of course the original rvt model has Level information in their properties:

As you can see I’m a real beginner here, even a little hint would be a great help!
Thanks

HI Nomuza, Elefront 4.3 is not directly compatible with Elefront 5.x

What version of Revit and Rhino are you using?

Here is Elefront 5 & GH compatible with R7

R7 -elefront5-BakeFloorsToLayers.gh (17.9 KB)

Here’s a Rhino 8 version, no plugins. (run in a new Rhino file)

R8-BakeFloorsToLayers.gh (14.1 KB)

Note that you cando the R7 version similar to R8, where its color by Layer instead of by Object like i did in the first attempt.

Thanks a lot! Man this is so satisfying

Forgive my silly questions about elefront versions. I got confused by the “R6” which means “Rhino 6” not “elefront revision 6”. I’m using Revit 2024 & Rhino 7.
Can’t wait for R8 to try your second gh file.

I also read the “Help us help you…” posts. I have a short term goal to achieve (some kind of formwork measure from revit model) so I’ll post questions as a separate new topic in forum.
Have a good day!

yes, silly to have a guide with a component that is not available? McNeel can you include gH script for this tutorial?

Please do not double post.
