Revit Link Element [Wall] ID

Hi All, I reference the wall element from a linked model into Grasshopper.

My question is if this wall ID will be changed with a new update/sync for a linked model.

Is these ID unique or will be modified per update?

It will only change if the wall is deleted and recreated, or deleted and undone.

Hi @jia.yeap,

If you need something stable between sessions use ‘Unique ID’.

The Unique ID is stable across upgrades and workset operations such as Save To Central, while the Id property may change.
The UniqueID can be used to store an identifier in an external database and to retrieve the same element in the future if it still exists.
