Hi All,

I am running Revit 2024 and RIR together and trying to push direct shape and structural beam elements to Revit.

My question is about Tracking Mode> Enable:Update. How does it affect the GUID and ElementID? Does the GUID change for each iteration run in Grasshopper, and does the ElementID remain the same?

My objective is how to retain GUID while many Grasshopper iteration runs throughout the design stage.

Hi Jai Yeap,

The Element GUID and ElementID will remain the same in this example (changing the height of the Rectangle Box)

a example is everytime i reference a close polyline from a dwg file into rhino, to push as a directshape. Just wondering if GUID in Revit will be the same or changed everytime i run the script
