Reinfrocement cover graft issue

Hello

I have some issue with inserting reinfrocement by using Tekla live link.
I have U-bars under openins and I would like to assign to them different covers from plane in “cover attributes” component. I already made shape and range (yellow lines visible in video). Right now, I want to have different cover for first U-bar group and different for secound one. I need to graft my input because other then this, grasshopper gives me a warning. Unfortunatelly, there is some issue with range or shape (at least I think so) that I can not solve. I tried different variants to have shape and range at different tree level, but neither of them works. Either I have 2 U-bars under one opening (then 2 different covers from plane) or 2 U-bars offset but with correct cover.
I would be gratefull for any help

I didn’t attach gh file beacuse it requires also Tekla license and proper input (I thought maybe someone would be able to solve it from video), but if you have it I am attaching GH file and some description how to make an input.
Before open GH you need to set LCS for wall in tekla so it is in a corner (picture) and have that perpendicular wall.

You need to create some openings with polygon cut and name them “Door” for these looks like doors and “Window” for these looks like windows.
In GH you need to select this wall in the begining of the script.
Problematic script is on the wery right side of the canvas.

Someone who doesn’t already have Tekla?

Have you tried flattening the Cover input?

When I am doing it I get warning that I need to graft the input.

Ok, I meant to flatten the input to the rebar component so that you get two Cover Attributes.

I tried to do so, but it doesn’t work :frowning: Some of U-bars have cover -57 and some -45 -69 but not in a way I want (seems to be random but probably there is some pattern)

Not sure what you’re doing wrong. I could not use your script since you didn’t internalize any data so I made a small script to show that it works just fine.

Please find attached my script with internalized

Yes, GH file is based on tekla elements. Please find enclosed db.1 file so you can connect it with tekla. You just need to choose wall with openings in tekla and set workplane as I described above.
