I’m getting this message quite a bit when working with RiR, and am losing work when I forget to hit save before closing (my problem, of course).
Is there something I could be doing differently to avoid this?

Are these files located on a cloud server? Can you run off the .rhl lock in Rhino. File>Properties>Files ?
Yes, they’re on OneDrive. That must be it. Thanks @Japhy
