Oh, okay! This is due to the fact these components have changed in the latest version of Grasshopper that ships with Rhino 6. This is a known inconvenience concerning backwards compatibility of GH 1.0 (or later) files.
The only thing you can do is look at the screenshot of my definition above, which has a quite big resolution, identify all the A-B (Subtraction) and AxB (Multiplication) components, and replace them with the Rhino 5/Grasshopper 0.9 versions.
McNeel could at least have provided a method to save in an older GH format in order to prevent these backwards compatibility issues. I guess this is a good method to get people to upgrade their license.
Have you found anything on the matter, Laurent? I have an updated, even better version of the above script, but Iām hesitant to upload it, since @gursel-87 wonāt be able to use it anyway without the obsolete component fix.
@DavidRutten, is there a way to substitute the A-B (Subtraction) and AxB (Multiplication) components in a GH file, with their obsolete counterparts from Rhino 5! The goal is to make a file saved from the latest Grasshopper compatible with Grasshopper 0.9?
Hereās the latest version of the script that should work with your version of Grasshopper! Iāve substituted the concerned components with their older counterparts.
the RandomDivision Python component has been optimised and doesnāt care about specific curve domains - from 0 to curve length - anymore
it also doesnāt matter anymore, whether your lower base curves have the same direction or not
the foundation and roof sections are now defined by the individual arcs (not the base curves) to prevent intersections with the arc geometry due to curvature issues
the tunnel that connects all arcs in base curve direction has been fully integrated
