Puffy object

Is there away to make like the below object capped and puffy ? as I couldn’t find a way to do that either using swipe or patch … etc .

Hi @razaqe,

I’d use a planar surface > QuadRemesh > Extrude the SubD > Reflect … like this in Rhino 7.

If you want to go Despicable Me (c) level fluffy and you don’t shy away from Grasshopper, you can do this:

When you replace (extrude) the mesh surface what do you do that the extruded surface takes a fillet shape? I did exercise but the edges of the shape were sharp.

@sciensman you need to use RemoveCrease on the vertices around the SubD and then you won’t get creases when extruding it. Your Rhino also appears to be a unofficial version (cracked corporate) so this may not solve the problem for you. I’d recommend using the latest v7 from the Rhino3D Download page.

Just FYI , I’m using Rhino 7 updated and licensed one !!!
